Rawalpindi (HRNW):<\/strong> The Punjab Prosecution Department has declared the Hina Javed murder case<\/strong> a high-profile case and formed a special committee comprising senior prosecutors to oversee the investigation and provide legal assistance to the investigation team.<\/p>\n

Punjab Prosecutor General Irfan Sadiq Tarar<\/strong> directed District Public Prosecutor Rawalpindi Mian Imran Rahim<\/strong> to ensure effective prosecution of the case, registered at the Civil Lines Police Station in Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n

According to the department, the special committee will continuously monitor developments in the case, oversee the investigation and provide the investigation team with necessary legal support.<\/p>\n

A meeting between the District Prosecutor Rawalpindi and police officials was also held, during which the available case record, evidence and progress made so far were reviewed in detail.<\/p>\n

Details of Hina Javed’s Death<\/h3>\n

According to the FIR, the body of 45-year-old Hina Javed<\/strong> was recovered from the bathroom of her in-laws’ home on the morning of August 20.<\/p>\n

The FIR states that the victim’s hands were tied behind her back, her mouth was covered with a cloth, and an electrical wire was wrapped around her neck and tied to a shower fixture.<\/p>\n

Hina Javed’s family has nominated her husband Faisal Asghar, father-in-law and a domestic employee<\/strong> in the murder case.<\/p>\n

Medical and post-mortem findings reportedly revealed signs of severe injuries. The report stated that Hina Javed had a fractured neck bone, while injuries were also found on her ribs and hip. The report also mentioned blood around the membrane surrounding her heart.<\/p>\n

Physical Remand, DNA and Polygraph Tests<\/h3>\n

Police presented the victim’s husband Faisal Asghar<\/strong> and domestic employee Zeeshan<\/strong> before a local court, which granted police three-day physical remand of both suspects for investigation.<\/p>\n

Police later transferred the two suspects to Lahore to collect scientific evidence, where their DNA and polygraph tests<\/strong> were conducted.<\/p>\n

Police officials said the investigation would be taken to its logical conclusion after reviewing forensic reports and other evidence collected from the crime scene.<\/p>\n
