ISLAMABAD\/TEHRAN (HRNW)<\/strong> \u2014 According to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, Pakistan\u2019s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will visit Tehran on Monday, where he is expected to hold important meetings with senior Iranian officials.<\/p>\n

According to the spokesperson, the purpose of the visit is to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Iran and advance Pakistan\u2019s efforts for peace and security in the region. The meetings are also expected to cover matters of mutual interest and the regional situation.<\/p>\n
