Karachi (HRNW):<\/strong> The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the 2026 annual examinations for the Intermediate Part-II Pre-Engineering Group.<\/p>\n

Announcing the results, BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho said that the competition for top positions was particularly strong this year, with three candidates jointly securing first position and two candidates sharing third position.<\/p>\n

The chairman said students from government colleges continue to achieve outstanding results in board examinations due to the efforts of qualified and dedicated teachers, a strong academic environment and the hard work of students.<\/p>\n

He particularly highlighted the performance of Adamjee Government Science College<\/strong>, whose four students secured positions among the top three.<\/p>\n

Top Positions<\/h3>\n

First Position \u2014 Joint:<\/strong>
\nMuhammad Saad Adil, Abdullah Jamal, both from Adamjee Government Science College, and Ayesha Rashid from Bahria College Karsaz jointly secured first position with 1,006 marks out of 1,100<\/strong>, achieving an A-1 grade.<\/p>\n

Second Position:<\/strong>
\nMuhammad Ahmed Raza of Adamjee Government Science College secured second position with 1,005 marks<\/strong>, achieving an A-1 grade.<\/p>\n

Third Position \u2014 Joint:<\/strong>
\nHafiz Abdul Rafi Tariq of Delhi Government College and Anas Javed of Adamjee Government Science College jointly secured third position with 1,004 marks<\/strong>, also achieving an A-1 grade.<\/p>\n

Pass Percentage Stands at 55.08%<\/h3>\n

According to Controller of Examinations Zareena Rashid, 18,464 candidates<\/strong> registered for the Pre-Engineering examinations, while 18,014 candidates appeared<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A total of 9,922 candidates were declared successful<\/strong>, bringing the overall pass percentage to 55.08%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the successful candidates, 980 secured A-1 grade, 1,781 A grade, 2,198 B grade, 2,659 C grade, 2,029 D grade and 216 E grade<\/strong>, while 59 candidates were declared passed.<\/p>\n

Candidates can check their results through the official BIEK website and the Board\u2019s official Android application, available on the Google Play Store by searching for \u201cBIEK.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
