Karachi (HRNW):<\/strong> Sindh Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani has said that deciding whether new provinces should be created is not the responsibility of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), describing the issue as a political and constitutional matter that should be decided through the relevant political and constitutional forums.<\/p>\n

Saeed Ghani categorically stated, \u201cDo whatever you want, there will be no new province in Sindh.\u201d<\/strong> He said the division of Sindh or creation of a new province was unacceptable and reiterated that the provincial government\u2019s position on the matter was clear.<\/p>\n

He maintained that issues concerning the creation of provinces or changes to administrative boundaries should be addressed through constitutional and parliamentary processes, with public opinion and political consensus given due importance.<\/p>\n

The debate over the creation of new provinces or administrative units concerns more than political boundaries. It also relates to political representation, equal development, fair distribution of resources and effective local governance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
