Karachi (HRNW)<\/strong> \u2014 An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) administrative judge heard the case concerning the alleged firing at the office of Member of the National Assembly Qadir Patel<\/strong>, as Boat Basin Police produced arrested suspect Malik Fayyaz<\/strong> before the court.<\/p>\n

Investigating Officer Inspector Muhammad Amin<\/strong> requested the court to grant police remand, stating that the suspect needed to be interrogated further.<\/p>\n

The court, however, sent Malik Fayyaz to jail on judicial remand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the case, the suspect allegedly opened fire while MNA Qadir Patel was present in his office.<\/p>\n

Police said a case had been registered against the suspect at Boat Basin Police Station<\/strong> and that further investigation is underway.<\/p>\n
