Karachi (HRNW):<\/strong> An Edhi Foundation centre in Sohrab Goth was reportedly raided by armed robbers, who allegedly escaped with Rs. 6.5 million in cash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to Edhi officials, more than four armed suspects were involved in the incident and allegedly subjected Edhi volunteers to physical violence during the robbery.<\/p>\n

The officials said the stolen money had been kept at the centre for the payment of employees\u2019 salaries<\/strong>. The Edhi staff had reportedly withdrawn the money from a bank shortly before the incident.<\/p>\n

Edhi officials further alleged that the robbery appeared to have been carried out following detailed surveillance, as the suspects allegedly knew that the staff was carrying a large amount of cash.<\/p>\n

Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, while efforts are underway to identify and arrest the suspects.<\/p>\n
