Karachi (HRNW)-\u00a0The Sindh government has directed authorities to accelerate work on the Yellow Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project to ensure its timely completion.<\/p>\n
An important meeting of the Transport Department was held under the chairmanship of Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, attended by Secretary Transport Asad Zamin, Yellow Line BRT Project Director Kamal Dayo, and other relevant officials.<\/p>\n
The meeting reviewed the progress of construction work on the Yellow Line BRT project in detail and decided to further increase the pace of work.<\/p>\n
Officials briefed Sharjeel Inam Memon on construction activities across various sections of the project, informing him that work is progressing according to schedule and that the project’s depots are expected to be completed during the first quarter of next year.<\/p>\n
Sharjeel Inam Memon directed the immediate removal of all utility-related obstacles to ensure the project’s timely completion. He instructed the relevant agencies to complete utility shifting, relocation, and all associated work on an urgent priority basis to prevent delays.<\/p>\n
The senior provincial minister stressed that the project’s momentum must be maintained at all costs and that all obstacles should be removed immediately to avoid any delay in its completion.<\/p>\n
He also directed all concerned agencies to resolve outstanding issues through close coordination and effective cooperation. In addition, Sharjeel Inam Memon ordered the early completion of the second section of the Taj Haider Bridge to reduce inconvenience for the public.<\/p>\n
He said the Yellow Line BRT is a vital public transport project for the people of Karachi, and its timely completion remains one of the Sindh government’s top priorities.<\/p>\n
