Jerusalem (HRNW):<\/strong> Former Israeli Defense Minister and leader of the Yisrael Beiteinu<\/strong> party, Avigdor Liberman<\/strong>, has sharply criticized the Israeli government and U.S. policy, saying that Iran has shown no willingness to retreat from its key strategic positions.<\/p>\n

According to a report published by The Jerusalem Post<\/strong>, Liberman stated that “the Iranians are not prepared to back down for even a moment\u2014not from their nuclear program, not from the Strait of Hormuz issue, and not from their support for allied groups in the region.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Liberman claimed that Iran is using the current situation to buy time, while Israel is gradually losing its strategic independence.<\/p>\n

He also criticized U.S. President Donald Trump<\/strong>, saying:<\/p>\n

“It is unacceptable for Trump to declare that we will not attack Iran while the whole world makes decisions on our behalf. We have become a ‘banana republic.'”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
