Islamabad (HRNW):<\/strong> Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) carried out a nationwide crackdown against drug trafficking, arresting eight suspects in eight separate operations and recovering 118.33 kilograms of narcotics worth more than PKR 17.3 million.<\/p>\n

According to the ANF spokesperson, at Islamabad International Airport<\/strong>, officials recovered 5.038 kilograms of crystal meth (Ice)<\/strong> concealed inside an oven in the luggage of a passenger traveling to Bahrain.<\/p>\n

At Peshawar International Airport<\/strong>, authorities arrested a passenger bound for Jeddah after recovering 3.953 kilograms of crystal meth (Ice)<\/strong> concealed in the passenger’s luggage.<\/p>\n

In Karachi’s Federal B Area<\/strong>, ANF officials intercepted a parcel destined for Italy at a courier office and recovered 1.34 kilograms of heroin<\/strong> hidden inside disposable cups.<\/p>\n

Near Ravi Toll Plaza in Lahore<\/strong>, ANF recovered 36 kilograms of hashish and 600 grams of opium<\/strong> from a vehicle and arrested one suspect.<\/p>\n

In District Kech near Turbat<\/strong>, authorities seized 45 kilograms of opium, 9 kilograms of hashish, and 9.45 kilograms of crystal meth (Ice)<\/strong> from a vehicle, arresting two suspects during the operation.<\/p>\n

On Super Highway, Karachi<\/strong>, one suspect was arrested after 6 kilograms of hashish<\/strong> were recovered from a motorcycle rider.<\/p>\n

Near Village Abro in District Sukkur<\/strong>, ANF recovered 1 kilogram of hashish<\/strong> from a suspect.<\/p>\n

In Clifton, Karachi<\/strong>, officials arrested another suspect near a public park and seized 950 grams of heroin<\/strong> from his possession.<\/p>\n

The ANF spokesperson stated that cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997<\/strong>, and further investigations are underway to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in the drug trafficking network.<\/p>\n
