Karachi (HRNW)<\/strong> \u2013 The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Karachi Zone<\/strong>, has announced the arrest of seven suspects<\/strong> allegedly involved in a human smuggling network during a raid conducted by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC), Karachi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the FIA, the operation was carried out in North Nazimabad<\/strong> under the directions of the Director FIA Karachi Zone<\/strong>. Authorities allege that the suspects were operating offices under different names across Karachi, where they deceived citizens by promising employment opportunities and migration to Europe.<\/p>\n

Investigators stated that the group had established an office in a rented building from which the alleged illegal activities were conducted.<\/p>\n

During the raid, FIA officials reportedly recovered hundreds of Pakistani passports, laptop computers, alleged firearms, police uniforms, and other material believed to be relevant to the investigation<\/strong>. The recovered items have been taken into custody for further forensic examination and legal proceedings.<\/p>\n

According to the preliminary investigation, the suspects allegedly charged between PKR 800,000 and PKR 1 million per person<\/strong> by promising overseas jobs and visas. FIA officials said that 52 alleged victims<\/strong> have so far come forward, while efforts continue to identify additional victims and other suspected members of the network.<\/p>\n
