Tyre (HRNW)- A Lebanese soldier was killed while an officer and another soldier were injured in an explosion near an army vehicle in southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n
According to the international news agency, the incident occurred in the Mansouri area of the Tyre district, where a suspicious object suddenly exploded near a Lebanese military vehicle.<\/p>\n
In a brief statement, the Lebanese army confirmed that a full investigation has been launched into the incident. However, authorities have not yet released definitive information regarding the nature of the explosion or those responsible.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Lebanese broadcaster Al-Manar reported that the blast was likely caused by unexploded ordnance allegedly left behind by the Israeli army, although this claim has not been officially confirmed.<\/p>\n
