The death toll has continued into 2026, with 107 fatalities from heavy traffic already recorded by April this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:align-top\">Human rights and public safety angle<br \/>\nHRNW stresses that protecting citizens\u2019 lives and property is a fundamental state responsibility. The high number of deaths and injuries in traffic accidents constitutes a serious human rights violation.
