Karachi (HRNW)<\/strong> \u2013 The Provincial Anti-Corruption Court heard the Green Line corruption case<\/strong>, where the investigation officer requested additional time from the Court to submit the charge sheet (challan).<\/p>\n

During the hearing, the investigation officer informed the Court that replies from the relevant departments, which had been contacted through official letters, had not yet been received. The officer requested more time to complete the challan process.<\/p>\n

The investigation officer stated that the charge sheet would be submitted before the Court as soon as responses from the concerned institutions were received.<\/p>\n

The Court accepted the request of the investigation officer and granted additional time for submission of the challan.<\/p>\n

The case involves former Project Director Zamir Abbasi<\/strong>, who has been accused of alleged corruption amounting to Rs. 8.5 billion<\/strong>. The accused is currently in jail on judicial remand.<\/p>\n
