Karachi (HRNW): <\/strong>An important meeting of the Karachi Grand Alliance<\/strong> was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Aslam Khan<\/strong>, where participants discussed the prevailing challenges facing Karachi, development issues, and administrative concerns.<\/p>\n

Political, social, and religious representatives attending the meeting expressed serious concerns over the condition of Karachi\u2019s infrastructure, public services, water supply, transport system, education sector, employment opportunities, and other civic issues.<\/p>\n

Participants highlighted concerns regarding the delay in the K-IV water project<\/strong>, limited employment opportunities for the city\u2019s youth, challenges in the education system, and reservations regarding the accuracy of population census processes.<\/p>\n

The meeting unanimously adopted a resolution demanding:<\/p>\n

\u201cKarachi should be granted the status of a separate administrative unit, and until that is achieved, the city should immediately be placed under the administrative control of the Federal Government.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The speakers stated that Karachi has historically held national importance and remains the economic hub of Pakistan. They emphasized that federal-level planning, greater coordination, and effective monitoring are required for sustainable solutions to the city\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n

The meeting was addressed by Mirza Saleem Baig, Ashraf Khan, Yousuf Imam, Syed Musharraf Hussain, Hussain Khan Rampuri, Muhammad Ali Shehzad, Syed Baqir Zaidi, Javed-ur-Rehman Khan, Advocate Raheel-ur-Rehman, Mehrban Ali Khan<\/strong>, and other leaders.<\/p>\n

The participants called upon the government to take immediate and practical measures for improving Karachi\u2019s infrastructure, completing delayed development projects, and ensuring better civic facilities for citizens.<\/p>\n
