Karachi (HRNW):<\/strong> The Sindh Government<\/strong> has decided to introduce a modern, technology-driven examination system across all educational boards under the Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project (SSEIP)<\/strong>, with financial and technical support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The proposed reforms aim to modernize the province’s examination system by introducing e-marking<\/strong>, digitalization<\/strong>, and improved governance mechanisms across all education boards.<\/p>\n

According to Sindh Universities and Boards Minister Muhammad Ismail Rahoo<\/strong>, the proposals for upgrading the examination system will be presented before the Sindh Cabinet<\/strong> for approval. He said implementation of the project would begin on a fast-track basis once cabinet approval is obtained.<\/p>\n

As part of the initiative, IT experts will provide specialized training to education board staff to help them adapt to the new digital systems. The boards will also be equipped with high-speed scanners, cutting machines, servers, and other modern technological equipment<\/strong> to improve examination management and administrative efficiency.<\/p>\n

Officials agreed that strengthening the examination system through digital governance will enhance operational capacity, improve transparency, and ensure greater merit in the assessment process.<\/p>\n

The government has appointed Fakir Muhammad Lakho<\/strong>, Chairman of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi<\/strong>, as the focal person for the project.<\/p>\n

Minister Muhammad Ismail Rahoo stated that the digitalization of examination and governance systems would significantly improve merit, transparency, and efficiency, while the collaboration with the Asian Development Bank<\/strong> would help align Sindh’s examination system with international standards.<\/p>\n
