Jerusalem (HRNW):<\/strong> Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described his relationship with former U.S. President Donald Trump as strong and stable, while expressing opposition to the potential transfer of F-35 fighter aircraft<\/strong> to T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Netanyahu said that although differences may arise between the United States and Israel, the two countries remain “model allies.” He added that his relationship with President Trump is sound and that both sides have an established way of resolving disagreements through mutual respect and cooperation.<\/p>\n

The Israeli prime minister also confirmed that he plans to visit the United States again in the near future, although the exact date of the visit has not yet been finalized.<\/p>\n

Discussing the prospective agenda for the visit, Netanyahu said he intends to lobby against the provision of F-35 fighter jets to T\u00fcrkiye. He argued that T\u00fcrkiye should not receive the aircraft or their engines, claiming that such a move could alter the strategic balance of power in the Middle East and affect Israel’s qualitative military edge, which he said also serves broader U.S. interests in the region.<\/p>\n

T\u00fcrkiye, a NATO ally of the United States, has been an outspoken critic of Israel’s military operations in Gaza. Reports also indicate that President Trump is expected to travel to Ankara later this week in connection with a NATO summit.<\/p>\n
