According to media reports, Kazem Gharibabadi wrote on the social media platform X that, as a responsible regional power and guarantor of the security of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran warns all countries against carrying out military activities in this sensitive maritime corridor.<\/p>\n
His statement came after Britain and France announced in a joint statement that they are prepared to deploy a military mission to support freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
Responding to the announcement, the Iranian deputy foreign minister said that the security and stability of the Strait of Hormuz depend on cooperation among the countries of the region, rather than the military presence of external powers.<\/p>\n
