Occupied Jerusalem (HRNW):<\/strong> The United States has formally signed an agreement to construct a new permanent embassy in Occupied Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

During a ceremony held on Wednesday, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa\u2019ar<\/strong> and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee<\/strong> presented the land allocation agreement for the permanent U.S. Embassy in Occupied Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the signing ceremony hosted by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mike Huckabee stated that the United States recognizes Jerusalem as the eternal, indigenous, and permanent capital of the Jewish people.<\/p>\n

According to the official announcement, the new U.S. Embassy will be built at the Allenby Compound<\/strong> in southern Occupied Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

The development comes amid the long-standing international dispute over the status of Jerusalem. Numerous countries and United Nations resolutions maintain that the final status of East Jerusalem should be determined through negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.<\/p>\n
