Islamabad (HRNW)-\u00a0Rising temperatures in Pakistan\u2019s high mountainous regions have accelerated glacier melting, leading to a gradual increase in water levels in the country\u2019s major rivers and reservoirs.<\/p>\n
According to official data, Tarbela Dam recorded an inflow of 226,500 cusecs in the Indus River, while the outflow stood at 150,300 cusecs.<\/p>\n
At Mangla Dam, the Jhelum River recorded an inflow of 37,600 cusecs and an outflow of 38,700 cusecs.<\/p>\n
Officials also reported that Chashma Barrage received an inflow of 250,000 cusecs, with an outflow of 230,000 cusecs.<\/p>\n
At Head Marala, the Chenab River recorded an inflow of 63,700 cusecs and an outflow of 36,900 cusecs.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, at Nowshera, both the inflow and outflow of water were recorded at 48,000 cusecs.<\/p>\n
Authorities continue to monitor water levels closely as glacier melt contributes to increased river flows during the summer season.<\/p>\n
