The Afghan Taliban regime is sponsoring Fitna al-Khawarij in its terrorism against Pakistan. Britain\u2019s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Richard Lindsay, said in an interview with Afghan television that Fitna al-Khawarij is a terrorist group and is receiving support from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
Richard Lindsay stated that Fitna al-Khawarij has extensive family connections and support networks in the tribal border regions. He emphasized that the Taliban authorities in Kabul and Kandahar need to take decisive action against the group and said questions regarding support for Fitna al-Khawarij should be directed to the Afghan Taliban leadership.<\/p>\n
He further claimed that training camps for Fitna al-Khawarij exist in Afghanistan, where weapons and financial support are being provided. According to him, Afghanistan has become a safe haven for terrorists who escaped security operations in Pakistan.<\/p>\n
Richard Lindsay added that the instability created by Fitna al-Khawarij is contributing to military responses from Pakistan.<\/p>\n
According to defense analysts, the presence of terrorist groups and their networks in Afghanistan remains a serious threat to regional security, with terrorist financing, training, and arms supplies contributing to ongoing security challenges.<\/p>\n
