Lahore (HRNW):<\/strong> Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman<\/strong>, while addressing a press conference at Mansoorah, demanded that petrol prices be fixed at Rs 225 per litre for three years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He said that in light of changing regional and global circumstances, the public must be provided relief and petroleum prices should be stabilized for a long-term period.<\/p>\n

Hafiz Naeem also called for bringing fuel prices back to the pre-conflict level of 28 February<\/strong>, urging the government to take immediate steps in this regard.<\/p>\n

He announced that a series of public rallies and protests across the country will begin from Friday, 19 June<\/strong>, followed by prolonged sit-ins in all four provinces.<\/p>\n

During the press conference, he also commented on recent regional developments, saying that shifting global conditions are having an impact on Pakistan, making public relief essential.<\/p>\n
