Gilgit (HRNW)-\u00a0Political activity in Gilgit-Baltistan has intensified following the elections, with efforts underway among various political parties to secure support for the formation of the next regional government.<\/p>\n
According to sources, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has initiated contacts with several political groups as part of its strategy to form a government in Gilgit-Baltistan. In this regard, the PPP has reportedly approached Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) and invited the party to join a coalition government.<\/p>\n
Sources said that the PPP has offered MWM participation in the proposed government setup. However, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has not yet given a positive response to the offer, and consultations within the party are continuing.<\/p>\n
Political discussions and negotiations have intensified as parties assess possible alliances and coalition arrangements. According to sources, MWM chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas has also contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan to discuss the evolving political situation.<\/p>\n
Sources further claimed that Allama Raja Nasir Abbas briefed Barrister Gohar on the contacts made by the PPP and developments related to government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan.<\/p>\n
With no final agreement announced so far, consultations and political maneuvering among various parties continue as stakeholders work toward forming the next government in the region.<\/p>\n
