Karachi (HRNW):<\/strong> The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi has intensified its investigation into alleged manipulation and irregularities in land records in Malir.<\/p>\n

According to NAB sources, inquiries against former Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Shah<\/strong> and other officials have been expedited.<\/p>\n

Reports indicate that 117 land entries<\/strong> in the Tappa Murad Memon area of District Malir have come under NAB scrutiny.<\/p>\n

NAB has issued a letter to the Mukhtiarkar of Murad Memon, directing that all relevant land records be submitted by May 7, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The investigation also covers the roles of former deputy commissioner, Section Officer Imad-ud-Din Chachar<\/strong>, AG Majid, and Khalid Yousufi<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n

NAB has sought complete details of allotment letters, lease durations, and CNICs of land buyers. Records of revenue officials and signatories involved in the process are also being examined.<\/p>\n

Sources said that the transfer of hundreds of acres of land in Deh Tor, Deh Thado, and Deh Kharkharo is under review.<\/p>\n

Additionally, records of over 1,000 acres of land transferred to the Malir Development Authority (MDA)<\/strong> have also been requested.<\/p>\n

NAB has warned that failure to provide the required records within the deadline will result in action under the NAB Ordinance.<\/p>\n
