According to the Congolese Ministry of Health, the Ebola epidemic has spread to various affected provinces of the country, where medical teams are busy tracing infected people, conducting vaccination campaigns and providing treatment to patients in isolation centers.<\/p>\n
According to authorities, details of the latest cases have not yet been released, but most of the spread of the epidemic is being seen in the eastern regions of Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu.<\/p>\n
According to the report, 72 new confirmed cases were reported in the last 24 hours, all of which were reported in Ituri province, which is currently considered the largest center of the epidemic.<\/p>\n
Ebola is a highly contagious and deadly virus that is transmitted through the bodily fluids of an infected person. The Democratic Republic of Congo has been experiencing intermittent outbreaks of Ebola for several years, largely due to dense forests and cross-border movement.<\/p>\n
