Hyderabad (HRNW):<\/b> Executing an intelligence-led tactical operation, the Tando Jam police successfully engaged a duo of armed criminals during a routine patrol, resulting in the arrest of a highly wanted suspect in a wounded condition while his accomplice managed to escape the scene.<\/p>\n

According to official briefings, the Tando Jam police received an intelligence tip-off indicating that two criminals mounted on a motorcycle were traveling from Matiari toward Tando Jam. Acting on this data, the police strategically established a security checkpoint near Chhutto Peer Ki Mori on the Matiari-Tando Jam link road. When the officers signaled the suspects to pull over, the criminals opened direct fire on the police party in a desperate bid to evade arrest and flee.<\/p>\n

The police retaliated in self-defense, wounding and neutralizing one criminal on the spot and recovering illicit weapons from his possession. However, utilizing the cover of the active gunfire, his accomplice successfully fled the area. The apprehended suspect was identified as Saqlain Narijo, a resident of Kotri, District Jamshoro. He was immediately shifted to a medical facility for treatment, while a comprehensive search operation has been initiated to hunt down the escaped criminal.<\/p>\n

Initial forensic profiling and criminal record verification revealed that Saqlain Narijo is a habitual offender involved in multiple house break-ins, narcotics trafficking, and armed assaults on law enforcement personnel across Hyderabad and adjoining districts. Furthermore, the suspect is a declared fugitive wanted in over 10 criminal cases registered across District Jamshoro and Tando Allahyar. Formal cases under relevant anti-crime and arms statutes have been registered against both suspects, and downstream investigations are underway.<\/p>\n
