Islamabad (HRNW)-\u00a0Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has termed the federal budget disappointing, saying that no meaningful relief for the public is visible in the government’s financial plan.<\/p>\n
Reacting to the federal budget, Barrister Gohar said that there are no expectations from the current government and that the budget fails to address the economic difficulties faced by ordinary citizens.<\/p>\n
He criticized the government’s performance over the past four years, claiming that instead of reducing expenditures, the ruling authorities have relied heavily on borrowing and continued to accumulate debt.<\/p>\n
According to Barrister Gohar, government extravagance and poor financial management have worsened the country’s economic situation. He stressed that the budget should bring real improvements in the lives of the people and help ease their financial burdens.<\/p>\n
Speaking about efforts to meet PTI founder Imran Khan, Barrister Gohar said that attempts are ongoing and that contact is made wherever there is hope of progress. However, he added that no positive response has been received so far.<\/p>\n
The PTI chairman further stated that while the public is facing severe economic pressure, the government is inviting the opposition for what he described as mere political optics. He remarked that he does not want to meet the Prime Minister simply for a photo opportunity but seeks meaningful progress on important political issues.<\/p>\n
