Srinagar (HRNW):<\/b> Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) President and veteran politician Farooq Abdullah has declared that his party will resolutely continue its political, legal, and constitutional struggle to restore the full statehood of occupied Jammu & Kashmir and reclaim the democratic rights stripped away from its people.<\/p>\n

Speaking to journalists in Srinagar, Farooq Abdullah emphasized that sustainable political stability and lasting peace in the region remain impossible unless the historic promises made to the citizens are honored. He urged the New Delhi administration to review its past unilateral decisions\u2014particularly those enacted following the abrogation of Article 370\u2014in order to rebuild public trust and strengthen the democratic process.<\/p>\n

Rising Political Unrest Amid Ignored Mandates<\/b><\/h3>\n

The JKNC chief stated that the people of Jammu & Kashmir desire the immediate restoration of their distinct historical identity, fundamental rights, and provincial autonomy. He warned that continuously ignoring these legitimate demands would only exacerbate political alienation and a sense of insecurity across the valley.<\/p>\n

“Strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring effective, genuine public representation is the absolute need of the hour,” Abdullah asserted.<\/p>\n
