{"id":18907,"date":"2026-06-11T11:54:47","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T11:54:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hrnww.com\/?p=18907"},"modified":"2026-06-11T11:54:47","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T11:54:47","slug":"major-ace-operation-at-dc-office-toba-tek-singh-naib-qasid-arrested-for-accepting-rs-1-million-bribe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hrnww.com\/?p=18907","title":{"rendered":"Major ACE Operation at DC Office Toba Tek Singh: Naib Qasid Arrested for Accepting Rs. 1 Million Bribe"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"model-response-message-contentr_8896e3e26c4cdcde\" class=\"markdown markdown-main-panel enable-updated-hr-color\" dir=\"ltr\" aria-live=\"polite\" aria-busy=\"false\">\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\"><b data-path-to-node=\"1\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Toba Tek Singh (HRNW):<\/b> In a major crackdown against institutional graft, the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has executed a successful raid at the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office in Toba Tek Singh, arresting a Naib Qasid (office attendant) for extracting a hefty bribe.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">According to an ACE spokesperson, the suspect had demanded a bribe of <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"70\">Rs. 1 million<\/b> from a complainant in exchange for facilitating and securing the legal possession (Dakhil) of a 100-kanal land parcel.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"3\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Bribery Transaction and Arrest<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">The financial transaction for the illegal facilitation was carried out in two phases:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Bank Transfer:<\/b> Initially, an amount of Rs. 800,000 was electronically transferred into the suspect&#8217;s designated private bank account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Cash Payment:<\/b> The remaining balance of the settled bribe was delivered to the suspect by hand.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Following a thorough preliminary inquiry, ACE investigators collected irrefutable documentary and digital evidence linking the suspect to the transaction. Upon the confirmation of guilt during the probe, the anti-graft watchdog formally placed the suspect under arrest.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Remand Granted by the Court<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">The arrested government employee was subsequently produced before the court of the local Area Magistrate for physical remand. After examining the initial case file and evidence, the court granted a <b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"198\">3-day physical remand<\/b>, handing the suspect over to the Anti-Corruption Establishment for further intensive interrogation.
