Tehran (HRNW)-\u00a0Iran has warned that countries implementing US sanctions against Tehran may face difficulties in passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global energy route.<\/p>\n
According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, military spokesperson Akraminia stated that states enforcing US sanctions against Iran would inevitably encounter challenges in the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
He claimed that during the recent conflict, opposing forces failed to achieve their objectives and the stability of Iran\u2019s political system remained intact. He further stated that the war strengthened national unity and solidarity, which he said was visible in large public gatherings across the country.<\/p>\n
Akraminia added that Iran\u2019s adversaries were unable to break its resistance and were ultimately forced to accept a ceasefire. He also said that during the ceasefire period, Iran enhanced its military capabilities, compiled new target lists, and upgraded its defensive and offensive positions.<\/p>\n
The statement is being viewed as significant amid ongoing regional tensions and heightened sensitivity surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, through which a large portion of global energy supplies passes.<\/p>\n
