According to parliamentary details from Islamabad, the bill scheduled to be presented by Senator Abdul Qadir in tomorrow\u2019s Senate session is among the key items on the agenda, which includes important legislative proposals and amendments concerning national governance and public policy.<\/p>\n
Among the major proposed laws are the Passport Amendment Bill, the Criminal Procedure Code Amendment Bill, and an amendment bill related to permanent or reinstated civil servants. The Foreign Investment Amendment Bill 2026 and a bill for the establishment of Islamabad International University are also included in the Senate\u2019s legislative schedule.<\/p>\n
The agenda further includes proposed amendments to the law governing salaries and allowances of members of parliament, which is expected to draw attention during the proceedings.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the bills proposed for withdrawal include the Anti-Terrorism Act amendment bill, the FIA Amendment Bill, as well as legislation related to the Pakistan Halal Authority, National Commission for Child Rights, Pakistan Commission of Inquiry, and the Pakistan Minerals Regulatory Authority.<\/p>\n
