{"id":16371,"date":"2026-05-06T14:08:02","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T14:08:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hrnww.com\/?p=16371"},"modified":"2026-05-06T14:08:02","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T14:08:02","slug":"karachi-bar-elections-2026-strict-rules-imposed-lawyers-urged-to-vote-consciously","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hrnww.com\/?p=16371","title":{"rendered":"Karachi Bar Elections 2026: Strict Rules Imposed, Lawyers Urged to Vote Consciously"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW)-\u00a0<\/strong>The annual elections of the Karachi Bar Association, organized under the supervision of the Sindh Bar Council, are scheduled to be held tomorrow, <strong>7 May<\/strong>, following a delay of five months.<\/p>\n<p>For these elections, the Sindh Bar Council has introduced a strict code of conduct, including a complete ban on candidates setting up their own election camps. Instead, a centralized election camp has been established by the Council.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to HRNW, Imran Aziz Advocate \u2014 a candidate for General Secretary and former Joint Secretary \u2014 informed that respected lawyers can now obtain their ballot slips and polling station details from the Sindh Bar Council\u2019s designated election camp.<\/p>\n<p>He further emphasized that all lawyers must bring their Sindh Bar Council card or original CNIC, as without these documents, neither a ballot slip will be issued nor will voting be allowed.
