Sanya, China \/ Islamabad, Pakistan (HRNW) \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>President Asif Ali Zardari has concluded his five-day official visit to China and departed for Pakistan from the city of Sanya. He was seen off at the airport by senior leader of the Communist Party of China Hainan, Wang Qiang, along with Chinese and Pakistani officials including ambassadors from both countries.<\/p>\n

During the visit, President Zardari held discussions in Hunan and Hainan focusing on enhancing cooperation in industrial, agricultural, and marine economy sectors. He also visited Shaoshan, the birthplace of Mao Zedong, where he paid tribute.<\/p>\n

Advancements under CPEC 2.0, particularly in domestic industrial growth and the blue economy, remained a key focus of the visit. In Changsha, three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between Pakistani and Chinese institutions in areas including seawater desalination, agricultural technology, and the tea sector.<\/p>\n

In Sanya, two additional MoUs and a joint investment agreement were signed in the presence of the President, covering cooperation in machinery, animal vaccines, and medical technology sectors.<\/p>\n

President Zardari also held detailed meetings with provincial leadership in Changsha and Sanya, and attended the commissioning ceremony of the Pakistan Navy\u2019s first Hangor-class submarine as the chief guest.<\/p>\n

The visit coincided with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, during which both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.<\/p>\n
