Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) \u2014<\/strong>The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, held a meeting in Karachi with the Ambassador of Denmark, Ms. Maja Dyrs, where both sides discussed enhancing bilateral relations, investment opportunities, and avenues for sustainable development.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted the vast investment potential in Sindh and emphasized the provincial government\u2019s commitment to industrial growth, energy sector reforms, and the provision of affordable electricity to the public. He particularly underscored opportunities in the wind corridor and renewable energy projects, inviting international investors to participate.<\/p>\n

The Danish Ambassador appreciated the Sindh government\u2019s development vision and expressed keen interest in expanding cooperation in environmental protection, clean energy, and green technologies. Both sides also stressed the importance of joint efforts to address the growing challenges of climate change.<\/p>\n

Discussions also covered coastal development, particularly the Keti Bandar project. The Chief Minister described it as a region of historical and economic significance and reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to developing it into a modern port. He noted that the development of Keti Bandar would reduce pressure on Karachi\u2019s existing ports and could emerge as a major economic and trade hub in the future.<\/p>\n

The Danish Ambassador also termed the Keti Bandar project important for regional trade and expressed willingness to explore potential collaboration.<\/p>\n
