Vienna (HRNW) \u2013 The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has stated that a significant portion of Iran\u2019s enriched uranium is likely still stored at the Isfahan nuclear facility. In his statement, Grossi said that while Isfahan may hold a large stockpile, other key sites including Natanz and Fordow also require continued inspection and monitoring.<\/p>\n
He further noted that Iran is estimated to possess around 440 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent, with approximately 200 kilograms believed to be stored in underground tunnels at Isfahan. Grossi added that discussions have taken place with Russia and other countries regarding the potential transfer of Iran\u2019s enriched uranium abroad, but emphasized that such a process would be highly complex and sensitive.<\/p>\n
