Islamabad (HRNW)- A special conference of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officers was held in Islamabad, in which Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi attended as the chief guest. During the conference, the Interior Minister met with the new Assistant Directors, Inspectors and officers posted in Islamabad of FIA and had a detailed discussion on their professional responsibilities, problems faced and institutional improvements. Mohsin Naqvi personally listened to the problems of the officers and assured them of their solutions.<\/p>\n
The Interior Minister said that the new DG of FIA has arrived and under his dynamic leadership, the institution will be made functional. He announced that the target has been set to make FIA \u200b\u200ba modern, dynamic and effective institution by December 31, 2026, while addressing shortcomings and improving the system will be given top priority. Mohsin Naqvi said that all necessary facilities will be provided to the staff of FIA, promotion is the right of every employee and the service structure will be improved. Expressing his determination to ensure promotions of officers, he also announced to provide plots to the families of all martyrs of FIA.<\/p>\n
The Interior Minister said that a comprehensive welfare plan is being prepared for the institution, which will include education, health and other facilities. He clarified that after providing all the resources, the zero corruption policy will be strictly implemented, there will be no concessions for elements involved in corruption, while officers working honestly will be provided with complete protection and job security.<\/p>\n
Mohsin Naqvi further said that the manpower of FIA will be increased, as it is difficult to deal with the current challenges with the 2008 manpower. According to him, the role of FIA is of key importance in the \u201cHardening the State\u201d policy and it is the only federal institution that can establish an effective writ of the federal government throughout the country. Making FIA the strongest and most trustworthy institution is the top priority of the government. Dr. Usman Anwar also addressed the conference. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry and Federal Secretary for Interior Khurram Agha were also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n
