KARACHI (HRNW):<\/b> Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi Division Secretary Information and Spokesperson, Fouzia Siddiqui, has issued a scathing critique of the federal and provincial governments regarding the escalating gas load-shedding, inflated utility bills, and the ongoing water and electricity crises. In a formal statement, she characterized these issues as clear evidence of the government’s total incompetence and anti-people policies. Siddiqui pointed out the irony that Karachi, which contributes approximately 65% of the national revenue and 90% of the provincial revenue, has been systematically deprived of basic necessities, leaving citizens to struggle for every drop of water while enduring persistent power outages and a severe lack of gas for domestic use.<\/p>\n

Further criticizing the state of the metropolis, the PTI spokesperson highlighted that Karachi\u2019s infrastructure has completely collapsed, with broken roads and a dysfunctional sewage system that turns the city into a stagnant pool even after minor rainfall. She noted that despite 18 years of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rule in Sindh, cities from Karachi to Larkana have been reduced to ruins. Siddiqui demanded an immediate end to the burden of heavy taxes and inflation on the public, calling for emergency measures to restore the city’s infrastructure and ensure the uninterrupted supply of gas, water, and electricity to provide long-overdue relief to the residents of Karachi.<\/p>\n
