Addressing a press conference, PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh lashed out at the federal government for dropping a &#8220;petrol bomb&#8221; on the citizens, warning that the move would trigger a devastating wave of inflation.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"2\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Economic Impact and Public Outcry<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">Haleem Adil Sheikh emphasized that with petrol now priced at <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"61\">Rs 458.40<\/b> and diesel at <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"85\">Rs 520.35 per litre<\/b>, the cost of living is expected to skyrocket by <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"153\">40% to 50%<\/b>. He noted that the most severe impact would be felt by daily wage earners, the salaried class, and the transport sector, which are already struggling under existing economic pressures.<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"4\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Leadership Attendance:<\/b> The press conference was attended by prominent party leaders, including Karachi President Raja Azhar, General Secretary Arslan Khalid, Jamal Siddiqui, Agha Arslan, Muhammad Ali Baloch, Fouzia Siddiqui, Jan Sher Junejo, and Waleed Hashmi.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Critique of Governance:<\/b> The leadership collectively condemned the government for shifting the entire burden of global market volatility and internal fiscal mismanagement onto the public.
