A Model Court in Dadu delivered the final verdict today, acquitting all primary suspects, including former PPP MPAs Sardar Khan Chandio and Burhan Khan Chandio, due to a lack of evidence.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"2\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Background: A Tragic Event that Shook Sindh<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">The incident dates back to <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"27\">January 17, 2018<\/b>, in Mehar (District Dadu), where armed assailants opened fire outside a residence, brutally killing three members of the same family: <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"178\">Mukhtar Chandio<\/b> (father of Umme Rubab), <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"218\">Karamullah Chandio<\/b> (grandfather), and <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"256\">Kabil Chandio<\/b> (uncle). At the time, Umme Rubab Chandio was very young, yet she made the historic decision to stand against the influential feudal lords of the region.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Umme Rubab\u2019s Struggle: &#8220;A Barefoot Quest for Justice&#8221;<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">The case gained national and international attention when Umme Rubab Chandio began attending court hearings barefoot, symbolizing her protest against the entrenched feudal and sardari system of Sindh.
