ISLAMABAD (HRNW):<\/b> Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has stated that while Pakistan remains open to dialogue with the Afghan Taliban, any formal engagement is strictly contingent upon the handover of terrorists operating from Afghan soil. Addressing a high-level briefing, he emphasized that the Kabul regime must now decide whether its priority lies with the TTP or with regional peace and a partnership with Pakistan. The DG ISPR revealed that the Afghan Taliban administration continues to provide sanctuary to militants, even within official government buildings, and has allegedly invited global terror groups like Somalia’s Al-Shabaab to Afghanistan. He clarified that Afghanistan has become a hub for international terrorism, and Pakistan\u2019s military actions\u2014including precision strikes at 81 locations targeting drone and weapon storage in Kabul\u2014are directed solely at dismantleing this infrastructure, not at the Afghan people. General Chaudhry dismissed the Taliban’s claims of civilian casualties as propaganda, noting that militants often use civilian attire and exploit vulnerable individuals for suicide missions. He reiterated that the war against terrorism was imposed upon Pakistan, resulting in the martyrdom of thousands, and maintained that for any path toward peace, the Afghan regime must first dismantle terror centers and return wanted individuals to face justice.<\/p>\n
