Karachi (HRNW)<\/a>–<\/strong> After the implementation of the e-challan system in Shehr-e-Quaid, citizens questioned why the system was not introduced in other cities of Sindh.<\/p>\n

DIG Traffic Syed Pir Muhammad Shah addressed the concerns regarding the system being limited to Karachi.
\nHe stated that currently the e-challan system is operational only in Karachi, while dummy challans have been issued in other cities of Sindh for the past one to two months. He confirmed that the system will soon be fully implemented across the province.<\/p>\n

Explaining the decision, DIG Shah said the reasons for launching the system exclusively in Karachi could be answered only by the IG Sindh, as he himself is responsible solely for Karachi’s traffic administration.<\/p>\n

He added that although the system is active only in Karachi at the moment, its expansion to other Sindh cities is expected soon, as the amendment enabling the system has now been approved for the entire province.<\/p>\n
