Rawalpindi (HRNW)-\u00a0The Pakistan Army has carried out a series of military operations targeting militant infrastructure across the border, destroying a tunnel in Kandahar, several technical support hideouts, and the Badini check post in the Chitral sector, according to the latest figures shared by Information Minister Attaullah Tarar.<\/p>\n
In a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the minister said that so far 684 terrorists have been killed and 912 injured during the operations. He added that 252 check posts linked to militant groups have been destroyed, while 44 have been captured and neutralized. In addition, 229 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns were reportedly destroyed during the strikes.<\/p>\n
According to the information shared, 73 locations of terrorists and their facilitators across Afghanistan were targeted through precision airstrikes. The operations reportedly took place during the night of March 14 and 15, when Pakistani forces struck several military installations and militant hideouts allegedly linked to the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij militants.<\/p>\n

According to security sources, the released footage shows that Pakistani forces targeted only militant camps and installations allegedly involved in cross-border terrorism, while avoiding civilian areas and infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Officials maintain that the operation was aimed at dismantling networks that were supporting militant attacks against Pakistani citizens from across the border.<\/p>\n
