In a major update, the investment limit for Sahulat Accounts has been increased from Rs 1 million to <b data-path-to-node=\"1\" data-index-in-node=\"336\">Rs 3 million<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">According to the SECP, these measures are designed to provide a more accessible entry point for first-time investors, particularly the youth. Key highlights of the new policy include:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"3\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Expanded Limits:<\/b> Investors can now invest up to <b data-path-to-node=\"3,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"48\">Rs 3 million<\/b> through their Sahulat Accounts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Multiple Brokerage Options:<\/b> Investors are now permitted to open Sahulat Accounts with <b data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"86\">more than one broker<\/b>, though they are limited to one account per brokerage house.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Simplified Onboarding:<\/b> Accounts can be opened online or in person using <b data-path-to-node=\"3,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"72\">only a CNIC<\/b>, eliminating complex documentation requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Current Market Data:<\/b> The SECP reported that there are currently <b data-path-to-node=\"3,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"64\">542,000 individual sub-accounts<\/b> in the stock market, while Investor Accounts and Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) total <b data-path-to-node=\"3,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"181\">144,000<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">The SECP has strongly urged citizens, especially young professionals, to utilize these regulated channels for capital market investment.
