Various international organizations have called upon the Indian government for urgent diplomatic intervention to secure the release of the scholar, who was in the Kingdom to perform Umrah.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">The <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"4\">Muslim Students Organization (MSO)<\/b> stated that Mufti Asjad Raza Khan is a highly respected Sufi scholar from India, representing the historic Dargah Ala Hazrat in Bareilly\u2014a global center for Sufi thought, peace, and religious harmony. Simultaneously, the Mumbai-based <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"273\">Raza Academy<\/b> has dispatched an official letter to the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. In the letter, President Mohammed Saeed Noori urged Saudi authorities to prioritize the matter and take immediate steps for his release, emphasizing that the Mufti is the grandson of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi and a spiritual leader to millions.
