Islamabad (HRNW)- Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar<\/span><\/span> has claimed that 415 Afghan Taliban members have been killed and 580 injured during Pakistan\u2019s effective counter-attack in Afghanistan under what he termed Operation Ghazbullah Haq<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), the minister stated that 182 check posts of the Afghan Taliban<\/span><\/span> were completely destroyed, while 31 posts were captured. He further claimed that 115 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns belonging to the Afghan Taliban were destroyed, and 46 locations inside Afghanistan were targeted in airstrikes.<\/p>\n

According to security sources, on February 28, Pakistani forces crossed the border fence near North Waziristan<\/span><\/span> in broad daylight and advanced toward a key Afghan Taliban post. Sources said Afghan personnel fled upon seeing Pakistani troops, allowing the Pakistan Army<\/span><\/span> to take control of the main post, clear enemy compounds, and remove their flags.<\/p>\n

In continued operations, the Afghan Kharchar check post near the Kurram District<\/span><\/span> sector was also targeted. Security sources claimed the post was destroyed using explosives and several Afghan personnel were killed.<\/p>\n

Sources further stated that the Afghan Taliban regime is facing setbacks on multiple fronts and that the operation will continue until its stated objectives are achieved.<\/p>\n
