Lahore (HRNW)- The discovery of an illegal factory producing chemically adulterated milk in Batapora area of Lahore has exposed the factors that are openly playing a joke on the health of citizens.
The Royal News investigation team presented all the evidence and videos of the factory to the officers of the Lahore Food Authority concerned, but the silence of the officers strengthened the suspicion of institutional failure or alleged criminal collusion.
According to sources, the adulteration mafia has been endangering the lives of the people, especially children and the elderly, by producing chemically adulterated milk for a long time and is allegedly getting protection through bribery.
Meanwhile, instead of taking action against the adulteration mafia, the police of Batapora police station allegedly provided relief to them and registered false FIRs against media representatives, which is being termed as a violation of freedom of the press and the law.
Public, journalistic, and social circles have demanded that a high-level, transparent, and impartial investigation be conducted into the matter, that immediate and exemplary action be taken against the responsible officers, and that the allegedly false FIRs registered against the journalists be immediately dropped.
HRNW appeals to its readers to support independent investigative journalism and efforts to expose public health threats. Donations can be made at:
