Karachi (HRNW) — Inspector General of Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, lauded the efforts of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Sindh and the Special Branch during a ceremony held in his honor.
Speaking at the event, the IG said that one of his primary goals upon assuming office was to introduce modern reforms, and today the CTD is operating with enhanced effectiveness and advanced technical capabilities.
He emphasized:
“The successes of CTD are the result of the team’s hard work, supported by the funds provided by the Government of Sindh. To counter evolving terrorism methods, the CTD must remain proactive, smart, and one step ahead.”
The IG also praised teamwork, dedication, and the sacrifices of martyrs, noting that their efforts have ensured peace and security in the province. He expressed confidence that the CTD team will continue to perform efficiently and on time.
At the conclusion of the event, Additional IGs, DIGs, SSPs, and other officers presented the IG with a shield, gifts, a Sindhi cap, and an Ajrak as tokens of appreciation.
