Hyderabad (HRNW) — A tragic incident occurred at Lakra Coal Mines in Jamshoro, where toxic gas leakage led to the deaths of three workers.
According to police reports, the deceased workers have been identified as Shaukat Pathan, Kamran Pathan, and Siraj Pathan, all hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Local workers alleged that negligence by the Balochistan Coal Company was responsible for this fatal accident. They reported that the bodies were recovered and transferred to the hospital, and the police have initiated the necessary investigations.
The workers further stated that accidents at Lakra Coal Mines have become a regular occurrence, and relevant authorities have failed to take any preventive action so far.
Following the incident, anger and unrest have spread among the local labor community, with workers demanding immediate action against the mine owners.
