New York (HRNW) – Human Rights Watch has documented a renewed crackdown on civil society activists, women’s rights defenders, and students in Iran.
According to the organization, security forces have intensified arrests, surveillance, and internet restrictions.
Rights groups warn that continued repression undermines freedom of expression and violates Iran’s international human rights obligations.
