Horrific Murder: Woman and Son-in-Law Arrested for Killing 7-Year-Old Stepdaughter

Gujranwala, Pakistan (HRNW) In a chilling case that has shocked the community of Habibpura, Kamoke, a woman has been arrested for allegedly murdering her seven-year-old stepdaughter to conceal an illicit affair with her son-in-law. According to police reports, the suspect, Nagina Bibi, was involved in a relationship with her son-in-law, Usman. While the child’s father was away, the young victim, identified as Zohra, reportedly witnessed the two together, leading the suspects to allegedly strangle her to death to keep their secret. The pair then reportedly wrapped the body in a sheet and used a motorcycle to transport and dump the remains in the Seem Nala Raja Bhalla canal. Although Nagina Bibi initially staged a drama claiming the girl had disappeared while playing, police became suspicious and detained Usman, who subsequently confessed to the crime during interrogation. Both suspects are now in custody, and authorities have launched a search operation at the canal to recover the child’s body as the investigation continues.
