Ankara (HRNW) The Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has expressed a conditional willingness to lay down arms against Israel.

According to Turkish media, senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Haya stated that the organization’s weapons are meant solely to counter Israeli occupation and aggression. He added that if Israel ends its occupation of Palestinian land, Hamas is ready to hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority.

Khalil al-Haya also said that Hamas would accept the deployment of a UN separation force to monitor borders and ensure implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement. In the latest operations by the occupying forces, 7 more Palestinians were martyred.

Since October 11, 2025, a total of 367 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli operations.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres recently stated that evidence indicates that the Israeli army has committed war crimes in Gaza.

Since October 2023, more than 70,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 120,000 injured in Gaza.
